Can a Censor or KA, most likely Akar, replace 'Curator' with 'Consul' (the last word in that sentence) here?

Ah, now I know what Akar is up to. He actually plan to kick you out KA then take over, eventually also trying to take over TWC.

That's Flinn's fault. He has perverted Akar with his project to replace Hader

Remove all restrictions of Curial office based on infractions points and you have my support. The Curia should exist independently of staff influence at this point. Let the Curia decide who it wants to serve. Compulsory disclosure of points? Sure. Be my guest. Automatic disqualification? Nah bro.

Once upon a time, only citizens qualified as moderators. Once upon a time, therefore, only citizens qualified as Hex. Staff dispensed with that years ago and yet, the Curia has allowed staff to directly influence who the Curia allows to serve the Curia by automatic bars to running for office as if the citizens are not capable of deciding who should serve the Curia regardless of even Curial procedure for censure. Staff has effectively exercised a veto to Curial service. Does this sound right to you? it doesn't to me. Let the Curia decide.

Not breaking the ToS is not "staff influence", it is the bare minimum of conduct expectable of "exemplary members" of the site.

I can heartily recommend the Italian Wars mod by Aneirin.

Definitely, fully agree. On the other hand, it's sad to see how someone isn't capable of living with the consequences of their actions , isn't it?

lol, I'd say that it's quite the contrary, since Staff and Hex in particular are always very reticent to mix with Curia.. but of course how could I know? I mean, someone who's been logging in once every 3 months during the last 5 years or so must definitely have a better insight than me, no?

So why not let citizens use their own good judgment to decide instead of it being a veto? Make disclosure of any infractions mandatory and let the voters decide. What's the downside?

Remember, they only got Capone on tax evasion.

I'm seeing very little evidence of that lol, since one recently had to resign from office for not reading the fine print. I guess certain people deserve disqualification more than others but I guess you'd know better, since you've been here more consistently.
