yea it can show religion, factions, population everything
I did a manual (basic use) for the German Forum (obviously in German), but if you know the language, have a look:
Arbeiten mit dem GeoMod Tool
I am waiting for the next release to publish the English version.
Thank you gigantus. I can read german language a little. Could it be possible for you to translate Geomod in german too ? The next release is coming in a few days.
In your manual, you mention the stringbin converter of alpaca, but Geomod already have a "BinConverter" tool, with which you can edit and convert txt and strings.bin files.
I noticed that you write Geomod with a big "M", but the real name I gave have a small "m".
Great news for sure

Yes it's true. I'll see what I can do, but not for the very next release.
- I can translate the Geomod into German when the next version comes out.
- Alpaca's converter is mentioned as you will need it when you add a new faction. That time you will have to work with the entries in the curly brackets as well. Otherwise the BinConverter is sufficient. Personally I am more at ease with working directly with the converted text files.
- I will take the big (capital) M out in the next release.
I saw that this was reported back in November but will the bug with changing a settlement from a town to a castle not being saved be fixed in the next version?
I must verify, but if I remember, this was a specific bug of the english version. Maybe somewhere a mistranslation, I don't know. I have to check this point.

Can I add reseources with geomod?
On the default page, at the bottom. Choose a resource to be added, click 'add' and place it where you like. I recommend to work with the 'terrain map' and the 'city and ports' as well as the 'features' switched on to avoid invalid placements. Keep in mind to have a valid place on the top right of the resource to allow a merchant to be placed there.
New version released !
Here is the new french version of Geomod (0.3.6, still beta) :

@ gigantus : The text files have to be replaced by the english (or german) version. As soon as you have translated the source files in english and german I will recompile them. Thanks for your help.
PS: It was not possible for now to allow several resources on the same place because I must re-write many things.

Here are the source files for the English version. Please upload the compiled version, I will then make an installer as usual. Got the additional text files already in place.
The German version will take a day or two, I am slightly rusty - and it is from scratch.
Edit: While I have been busy with the German translation I came across some lines that I have overlooked in the English Version. Will submit both translations when I am ready.
I still cant get it, how van i actually place the resources on the map?
