What are some of the things that are going to change with the final version, if I may ask?
Project abandoned?
Hi b0Gia, are you still working on this?.
Temporarily retired from modding.
I don't think it's coming. b0Gia seems to be working on a lot of mods, possibly bit off more than he could chew.

Coming when..
Dear HCS fans. I've been working for while with a small team (b0gia, Teobec, and Leon Katakalon) to bring you an unofficial version 1.0 of Hegemonia.
It's nearing completion and includes lots of fixes and improvements.
We're currently in a beta testing phase, and anyone interested in testing it out can send me a PM.
(We are looking for feedback from playtesting, so please only request access if you intend to provide feedback based on actually playing the mod).
Until then, check out this battle footage for a preview of how combat looks now:
Cheers!

Great news Unfortunately I don't have time to playtest it seriously right now, but I hope you could find people to do so. Cheers!
Just to keep you up to date, it's very close to a release now.
Here are some highlights extracted from the rather long changelog:
BATTLES AND UNITS
- Rebalanced hoplite combat, new traditional hoplite line formation, as well as tweaks to unit upkeep and various other combat balances.
- Correct distribution of units in custom battles, and new locations added.
- New Phrygian cavalry unit, new Persian standard bearer, new Messenian hoplite unit, etc.
- Included beautiful but previously unused HCS units.
CAMPAIGN SCRIPT AND MECHANICS
- Completely rewritten, stable and reasonable, scripts for the economy, Persian armies, and more.
- Rebalanced campaign for harder expansion and longer playability.
CAMPAIGN MAP
- Revisited map for better AI behavior.
- Special map feature for the Diolkos of Corinth.
CAMPAIGN FACTIONS
- Some factions now have a choice between two different government types: Rhodos (oligarchic/tyrannic) Argos (oligarchic/democratic) and Etruscans (oligarchic/tyrannic).
CAMPAIGN TRAITS
- Corrupt traits may develop depending on treasury and tax level.
- Age traits properly implemented.
- Young characters develop traits easier from educational buildings, and they may also change government preference depending on the government buildings of their city of residence.
CAMPAIGN UNIT RECRUITMENT
- Mercenary and factional elite unit recruitment more restrictive.
- Recruitment zones extensively revisited for more consistency and in some cases more variety.
Cheers!
