    Disagreed.

TW games have hitherto been good.

If Rome II was a horse it would have been shot 3 months ago.

^^ cheeky fellow Man o war.

You really wouldn't this game if you can't stand the in-game bugs. As far as real strategy, planning and logistics go .. you will not get this in any past or future TW game .. as it is what it is : a game. CA should have released the game when they had fixed the bugs. The issue with most people is of their perception of the game and what they desire in it. For me, i know its just a game and don't dwell much on the inaccuracies.

Basically, its mediocre at the moment, the right mods make it good and the patches will make it great. Just don't fuss about tiny things such as torches, I mean a torch is not much different from an uncovered battering ram, the games not really about politics and transport ships are actually slow. They might allow more soldiers, but, if you think about it boarding is not everything. The persians had bigger ships with more men, but the Greeks still defeated them every time.

Default €16,- is Rome II worth...

    Well,

It seems that Rome II is such a huge dissapointment that the game is already selling for €16! A few retailers are selling the game very cheaply. I think it reflects the position of ROme II perfectly. The public won't buy it for €50.

Even Shogun II is more expensive.

I can't read Dutch but I'm pretty sure it's a discount. And it's kind of normal for games that have been released for 5-6 months to have these kind of discounts. IMO Rome 2 price should drop soon enough for good.

Btw on steam it's still at full price if I'm not wrong and Shogun 2 isn't...

People know how to use the internet to get the cheapest price. I can not imagine people buying at steam...

I didn't bother looking around, just bought it on steam, it convenient. Is it worth 16? definitely. I'd say it's fair price would be 29.99. DLC should be 9.99. Just my opinion.

Never. It's still terrible, dull and lack immersion. I've played barely 13 since I bought it (preordered ) and it's so pointless...

It is not surprising that Shogun II is more expensive. That game was a masterpiece, while Rome II is not even comparable to it.

If you want a game where you can think, build and empire and lead an army, on and off the battlefield, it is worth the money.

If you are looking for an immersive expereince that sucks you in, play something else.

For a first copy, yes but not for a second copy which I'm looking for. Waiting for it to get below $10.

Rome 2+ Greek DLC+ Normandic tribes DLC around 20$ is good price
Rome 2 alone is bad since DLCs this time really cost quite a number
Empire II and Medieval III pls

Steam sales usually have that pricing. Although I do wonder if CA/SEGA will follow Paradox example and give out 75% off sales any time.

By the way, is that 16 Euro price for the whole collection including all DLCs, or simply the base game?
