Is there any point in offering help?

Hello,
I would like to ask if there is still any point in offering help on this mod. I mean, is there any work still being done, albeit very, very slowly, or is the mod completely, utterly, irrevocably dead? Looking at the previews, it seems such a shame that all the work should be wasted. Medieval II is an old game, but much more easily moddable than the new TW titles, and I would love something situated in East and South - East Asia to exist, the area is woefully underrepresented.I can only offer help as a researcher, but would be willing to learn new skills.

It would be nice if the people who have what has been done so far could release it so at least others could tinker with it. That way it wouldn't be lost.

A pity, really, that this mod was totally dropped. Such an interesting and never-worked setting. I once offered help according to my capacities (traits, ancs and texts) but never got an answer and it was already some 5 years ago.
