Concerning Macedonian mercenaries, is there evidence for this in the sources?
I haven't come across it, would be interesting to read about this.

I knew Macedonians tended to switch sides if the odds weren't in their favour,
but outright being mercenaries for a non-Macedonian?

BTW could we get updated pictures for Chalkaspides with the new shield model?

Athens is my favorite Greek faction so I'm happy they are overhauled (as a matter of fact when any faction is touched by team) and I do enjoy play as Pontus too. Thanks!

Dope! I'm more excited with the full release of DeI 1.2 — with this hellenic overhaul — than with the next total war title. =P

I have not yet downloaded 1.2 since I want my next playthrough to be with an hellenic faction, but I am really hyped to see the integration of the new systems etc. and the redone rosters (Something I doubt CA would ever implement in one of their games, especially such awesome population and supply systems).

Is there a Carthaginian part? Would certainly be interesting, though my most recent source on Carthage would be Griffith's chapter about their mercenaries

Not really sure Carthage will be in the overhaul right now. Maybe after this update we will work on them. We have a few ideas but we are in the very early brainstorming phase.

We have other stuff coming also after 1.2.1, some barbarians may be getting some love who have been neglected for awhile
