Im not sure if you know of the reddit's total war subreddit, but it seems quite active, and most of the people there seem to like the other lord of the rings mods(third age, lotr tw), so it might be a good idea to post your announcements there to promote this great mod.

Something that would be really helpful atm is if people could take 5 minutes to pop over to ModDB and leave a short review, or at least a rating. We have quite a few already but most are for the older versions of the mod, so it would be nice to get some up to date ones in there too.

So since I made this request almost a month ago we have had a grand total of 1 new rating on Moddb (and a genuine Thank You Very Much to whomever it was). It's a little discouraging for us, especially those who have spent literally years (a decade, in one memorable case!) working on this mod, to see such a small reception and audience for the result of our many, many hours of effort.

I know a lot of it is down to how long it has taken to get the thing completed and released, and how old RTW is as a modding platform but if you happen to believe, as we do, that FATW is a really great, high quality tribute to the Middle-earth that we all love and that it deserves recognition please do help us to promote it as widely as you can, so that more people can enjoy it.

I hope that just five minutes to leave a short review, or make a couple of forum posts, is not too much to ask.

The place to leave a rating is just below where the overall rating appears, on the right sidebar. I'm not sure if you need to sign up to do it or not, guests should be able to leave a /10 score regardless.
