Yes, in that transcribed case it would be ''Boiotia''. I am merely commending the way it is done these days in academic circles by historians (and archaeologists or philologians alike), but it is by no means the only option as you know, especially with your contemporary Greek view

Indeed the blood from his fructured skull showers the evening sky in an artistic way..
If only we had some brain tissue flying over here and there.. Gray matter makes a nice contrast with the evening sun..

Hahaha I knew this photo was going to like because of the standard sun inside the real sun more or less. I tried to capture it more centered but this was the closest attempt.
