Anyway, is Dragon Age 2 worth of playing? I have heard that it isn't much like Origins (perhaps the best game I have ever played), but is it still worth of buying?

Ive heard nothing but bad things about DA2.
While waiting for Divinity Original Sin{which I heard has been push back to June 30th from the 20th} ive gone back and been playing Divine Divinity. It is without doubt one the greatest RPGs released since 2000 and its a shame some have never even heard of the title.

Gladius is the reason I still have an old Xbox around, I have it purely to play that game once in a while quite fanaticly even. Graphics still hold up rather well. There's a lot of tactics and planning involved. And of course the unique setting helps a lot, the game has no competition since it cant be compared to anything else.

Its kind of a rock-paper-sizzors thing with classes.. theres heavy, medium and light gladiators. heavy beats medium, medium beats light and light beats heavy (more chance to dodge and faster turns). However, this disadvantage can be overcome through elevation bonuses and good skill use. Good equipment also helps. Theres also arcane and support classes which have no bonus or weakness regarding any particular weight class.
Theres multible gladiators of each category though, each with their own advantages.. to give some examples:

Samnite. (heavy) Specialises in pushing others around and has many strong attacks but not too great accuracy and movement rate. Quite some area attacks too, great to controll enviroments.
Centurion. (heavy) Strong attacker, a bit more mobile than a samnite and can inspire fellow gladiators with various skills to increase movement speed, provide slight healing, increased attack and such.
Murmillo. (medium.) Has many shield based attacks such as bashing with it, throwing it and simply having great defence with it.
Barbarian. (medium.) Strongest of medium classes, can turn into various animals and has descent movement rate. Less defence due to not having a shield but a two handed weapon.
Secutor. (light) Does insane damage with backstabbing, taunts opponents when they miss which lowers their initiative, and has great initiative themselves.
Dervish. (light) Has many bleeding and area attacks, immune to air affinity attacks.
Archer. (support) Great at range, weak in melee. Can move and shoot with their bow straight away.
Gungnir (support) spear throwing barbarian, can turn into animals and has a very powerfull ranged attack. Less range than an archer though and cant move and throw a spear in one turn.
Chaneller (Arcane) Not much of a damage dealer but has many tricks to buff allies, steal affinity (which is used to charge up affinity attacks), can scatter everyone over the field, and they are the only good healer in the game.
Undead Summoner. (arcane) Rather unique class that injures himself to summon power. Can summon skeletons with that power and has other death based attacks like cursing someone causing them to die in a number of turns.

Aside from these classes you also get Legionaires, Minotaurs, Cyclopses, Ogres, Mongrels,Mongrel shamans, Peltasts, Thieves, Undead Legionaires, Yeti's, wolves, bears, tigers, Berserkers, Amazons, Summoners, Scarabs, Scorpions and Satyrs. Some are easier to get and have more of them available.

Have you played Torchlight 2? Vastly superior to Torchlight 1 and a real blast to play!
You could also try Dungeons of Dredmore (rouge-like), which is really fun.
Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR 2 are fantastic games, you need to play them now. Also, I can't remember if you mentioned Mass Effect in the OP, but they are great games. Also, Age of Decadence looks interesting. I haven't played it personally but it sounds really interesting.

You have played the best CPRG's already.

I can only recommend replaying them and seeing what else you can uncover.

Just invest in Pillars of Eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera and learn some patience.

Anyway, is torchlight 2 much better than the first one? I found the first one to be a little boring, but i can try the second one.

What bored you of the first one? It's the same style game obviously. It's got the multiplayer this time. The fish you feed your pet are more useful. It's all around more entertaining.

I dont remember It just felt pretty repetitive when i played it as an alchemist, maybe because for me it was just spamming shield and eletric spells :| But i guess i could give them another try some time.

You already said you'd be getting Divinity: Original Sin when it released, but just in case you haven't yet I want to recommend that you do so. It's excellent.

"The Last Remnant" is quite good and has an interesting squad-based battle system.
Have you played the timeless classics like Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Terranigma, Treasure of the Rudras, Tales of Phantasia, Final Fantasy 6 etc.?

Pretty sure he was talking about Western cRPG's, not JRPG's which to me don't have that much in common . Or at least loving one doesn't mean you'll love or even like the other.
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...

Hey now, he just said RPG, and gave us a fairly modern list with no super nintendo classics(for shame). You think someone's not going to try to fix that?

Why do people ignore the fact that OP is asking for party based isometric RPGs?

I forgot to mention the free game "UFO: Alien Invasion". It puts you into the role of the commander of Phalanx, an anti-alien-agency tasked with the protection of planet Earth from alien threats.
On the world map, you can build bases, ufo yards, radar towers and SAM sites. The bases can be filled with buildings like hangars, workshops, living quarters, storage area etc. It is possible to customize dropships, interceptors and soldiers with weapons, armours and other gear. Research is also possible, leading to laser weaponry, new ships, facilities, armours etc.
As soon as an UFO appears on the world map, you can shoot it down and send a dropship with soldiers to the crash site to kill the surviving aliens. The combat is grid-based and turn-based.

(translation: screw you and your isometric RPGs, they don't have awesome Blues Brothers references that youtube viewers totally hilariously mistake for Mario and Luigi references)
