Was curious which mods do you use alongside Divide et Impera? I use:

GEM
Season graphics effect mod which was posted in a topic somewhere in this part of the forum ( made for DeI )
Better Watter III HD
Started my first campaign as Rome and already got attacked by the etruscan league by the third turn. Love the mod

If by seasons graphics fix you mean the new effects (snow in north, etc) then yes.

Gona try out the campaign camera mod out tomorrow.
The game is sooooo much better with DeI and a few smaller mods.

Bullgods Icons, you really need them to give immersion into game. (and there is a camera mod, get it.) The rest of the mods you don't need. That's how good this MOD is.

Dark devil camera mod, gem, special effects insane , submod for better empires development (cant remember the name correctly right now) and that's it. By the way I don't agree with the icons stuff, vanilla ones are much better imo.

Couple of mech's graphics mods, gem, and historical development sub. Would like to play Patricius Darwinius' Realistic Roman Army mod which he build on DeI but I think the newest update wrecked compatability.

It's more about the battle lines than blobbing. You won't have troops diving behind enemy lines because they're in some stupid duel. It's more like ME2 or Rome 1 combat.

Try it out, it's not permanent. I like it. You still have your kill animations, just not those strike/parry/riposte things.
