Cilicia Armenia faction still doesn't convinces me as worth of taking a faction slot

They were kinda in the same situation as Georgia, with the exception they didn't break apart in small fiefdoms but their role in the region after 1226 was mainly of a vassal to one major power or another.

At least Bulgaria contested lands with its neighbours and almost takes over the mantle of the dismembered Byzantine Empire, Which is why I had thought of having them instead of the Cumans... but dunno removing the Cumans might make the Mongol advance through the steppes way too easy, not that they stopped the mongols much historically but at least put up some fight in alliance with the Rus.

Besides I think no other SS submods have a playable Bulgarian faction
what do you guys think?

I have never seen the Cumans in-game do much against the Mongols anyways. Could be balanced by removing a Mongol spawn stack, specifically from the event that has them emerging in that northern area. I think it's the blue horde event? At that point in the game they are weak anyways, some of their units could be made AoR to represent them in the fight against the horde
hmm I could see that workingsome of their units could be made AoR to represent them in the fight against the horde
Armenia also not convice me that it should be in. Hm...Maybe vladimir suzdal ? or simply bulgaria to put . You knwo what is best..
We could have:
Serbia (using georgia slot)
Bulgaria (using cumans slot)
Hafsids (using sicily slot)
Hafsids would start as ally to the Almohads but with bad relations (they were their vassals still by 1220 but rebelled 9 years after )
About Hafsids and Serbia, i can say that i completly agree. About Bulgaria...hm , i love idea, but for some strange reason, im not sure 100%. But still, i think its good idea, they wre one of major powers back in that time on balkan. What i also considering is Sweden? But still i think Bulgaria is better. Dont know.
EDit: Ok, my final opinion is for Bulgaria, OR even Armenia..... More or less, they position is great, they would be true hardcore faction to surviev in lands of islam. But even so, Bulgaria convince me more. I hope some other member will also tell they opinion so you can put your final Meloo

Just an idea...
I've been reading about the Italian Wars and why not a Swiss faction for the late game? They were very powerful and went toe to toe with the likes of France, HRE, and Spain (usually just as mercenaries, but even then they often chose how the battle would play out and were the deciding factor for the result).
Or, they could be an emergent faction like the Teutonic Order, and around 1450 they could spawn some stacks around Bern and proceed to dominate the surrounding regions. I think it would be cool
There will be another Late Era campaign for the 15th and 16th centuries possibly spaning from 1450-1618
hence why the one starting at 1220 is dubed High Era campaign
Won't have to wait much to get into the Pike n Shot warfare
Although I doubt a Swiss faction would be included, unless a west europe regional campaign is done.

Kingdom of France
Kingdom of England
Kingdom of Scotland
HRE (Habsburgs)
Crown of Castille
Crown of Aragon (Including Italian possessions)
Kingdom of Portugal
Republic of Venice
Duchy of Milan?
Florence?
Kingdom of Hungary

Mameluke Sultanate
Persia (Aq Qonyulu->Safavid transition)
Timurids?
Hafsids
Morroco (Marinids->Wattasid transition)
Muscovy
Polish-Lithuanian Union

Byzantine Empire? I remember having a lot of fun playing a 1450 campaign in SS6.1 as the byzzies.
Ah them too
xD although that would be like the hardest campaign ever
They would start with what Constantinople only?
Surrounded by Ottomans
Hmm what about Vlad Tepes' Wallachia?
although he could be an Independent Named Character which could be Bribed or Married into any faction

There was Trabzon and Epirus as well, although I think they were independently ruled similar to the situation in 1220
In addition there was the Despotate of the Morea as well and Athens.
My source is a quick reference timeline you can find here

Type in 1450 and it shows the area. Although I've noticed it isn't perfect in past.
Not if they have access to Siphonatores . In any event, a 1450 ERE campaign would be quite possibly one of the most challenging and ultimately rewarding campaigns in TW history. I for one am looking forward to it .
Yes, in 1450 they would start with only Constantinople and Morea. Epirus was controlled by Venice and Trebizond was independent.
Maybe these guys could help?
