    I checked the Sheikah campaign a little and same thing happens to me. Shadow stance works ok, but Death crashes immidietly.

    Update: Sheikah Death Crash fixed in a patch provided by Tedster1993 to his submod. So download all the 3 files provided in his first post.

    Update: Twilight Midna Campaign now somewhat playable... (fix is in patch update thread at the moment)
    Mirror of Twilight CTD.s on completion. (but hey atleast you get to execute zant when he surrenders! :3)

    @ SirMark9.

    There are several units from that Bug report there. That state this...
    "Missing skeleton for secondary weapon in model type"
    I believe all of those units are missing a melee attack for some reason.

    My guess would be that the Code for "secondary weapon" in a skeleton of a model is used for Melee, And the Code for "primary weapon" is used for ranged.
    I believe the model code for the skeleton is different then the code used in the EDU file.

    I don´t know if this is known, but i could not find it in the lists. I am playing a Wizzrobe campaign and i am in turn 8. One of my priests discovered a Lanayru Province unit standing next to a "wild animal" army. The texture of this army on the map is a big question mark. In the Lanayru turn, when they attack the animal army, the game crashed to desctop.

    Do you know this bug? Is there a solution or workaround? Do you know if this also happens if I am not able to "watch" the battle [so does it help to go some turns back and not putting my priest there]?

    Answers would be great, useful ones even more

    You maybe on to some thing.
    I've been having a similar Problem on the Infamous Turn 15 Crash. And I've noticed it CTDs on the "Rebels/Wild life's turn. Your Problem and Mine maybe related. I would like for you to go to this thread I just made. And help out by doing the Bug report Method spoken about there. I'll Post How to fix your problem there as well.
    Here is the Link to the thread...Help us Find bugs that cause Game stopping impassable turns do to CTDs. Like the Infamous "turn 15" Crash.

    O.. By the way, Your Idea on how to fix your CTD might work. But I recommend trying the workaround methods I spoke of in that new thread. Before you try your workaround. This way you maybe able to keep your current progress.

    Thank you for the answer and the help. I would do as you say, but unfortunatly i can´t find my log files, I don´t have the game over Steam but ofer CD/DVD so the path is another? Or are the logs only provided for Steam?

    But I will try your workarounds, and since i figure it out I will post the logs (which i can recreate with the old savegame). Also I think the thread is a very good idea, since I also think that these problems could be related to "seeing dead animals" - or at least ones without proper campaign icons.

    Having Zelda II's bodyguard fight in melee causes a crash to desktop. The crash happens when the soldiers should be unsheating their swords.

    What exactly was the problem with the Stalfos? Do they not raise the dead properly after battles? Or is it also the lack of AI when not player-controlled?

    With the stalfos its like the river zora where they dont do anything until they emerge, the stalfos just happen to be about 90 or something turns into the campaign thats why they dont do anything its the same with the sheikah ikana and twili

    I've never actually played a campaign for long enough to see the Stalfos, Sheikah or Twili emerge. I didn't even know the first 2 had events, and I thought the Twili just ended up stuck in their own world with no way through for some reason.

    If the Stalfos started with a province, would they behave like a normal faction? I was thinking Horon Cemetery, it seems appropriate. The Lost Woods, Arbiter's Grounds, or maybe the Land of Famine might also fit.

    I think those are actually good places for the Stalfos to spawn. Maybe add Hyrule field and that Ikona place that had undead spawning in MM.

    I've just realised that no-one in OoT or TP is ever bothered by the fact that the dead rise from the ground at night right outside their city.

    The problem with Hyrule Field is that I'd have to pick one part of it to be Stalfos, when ideally they'd be spread out evenly over the whole area. Maybe some scattered 'Wildlife' units of Stalfos?
    Which Ikana place was that? They're probably already included in the Ikana faction.

    Spawning all over the place like you said would make sense, but would it work with their Necromancy mechanic? They need to win battles to get any new units, and spreading their forces out makes that harder. They need to be able to snowball to survive.
    I was initially thinking of starting them in Horon Cemetery, where they can grow without much opposition (I moved the Fairies as well). Not brilliant lore-wise though, other than the starting settlement.
    Instead, maybe staggered spawning, based on the success of the previous spawn? Say on turn 10 a Necromancer and some units spawn in the Lost Woods and declare war on whoever owns it. On turn 30, the game will check whether that Necromancer is still alive, and if not it spawns another Necromancer with some units near the Arbiter's Grounds, and they'll do the same. And that would continue throughout the game, to give the impression of occasional Stalfos outbreaks that vary in success depending on the world at the time. It would also bring some variation.
    Thoughts?

    I also believe that all emerging factions should show up purity early in the game. Other wise they don't stand a chance of doing any thing for the game. They just get picked off like they are some form of rebels.


    If this is the plan for those factions. I say take them out and give each of the other factions that do stuff in the campaign new units for their Roster.
    But if that idea is a no. Then Why not make those emerging factions matter? Also I want the Sheaka and the Wizzrobes to matter in a Free form Campaign.

    The stalfos do appear sort of everywhere when they do emerge and their is about 20 stacks of units scattered around, but yea I agree it should be a bit earlier (which I might be working on for version 4.0 of le submod) the pat is the one and only problem with these factions they appear at a point where pretty much every faction has expanded a lot and got a fair few full stacks worth of elite troops with them, the only exception is the river Zora who mainly act as an annoyance for everyone and occasionally capture a settlement or two if they are lucky.

    @eldren with the map idea that is possible to have mini sub-campaigns like third ages fellowship one, without the story of course. But the only limit is you can only have the factions and units from the main campaign. Plus I always wanted to make the Ancient age into a submit as well which I may post about soon like victor did .

    Could make these factions appear as hordes and have the power to match. The Mongols appear in M2TW fairly late into the campaign and they're still relatively very powerful.

    Bug Report:
    Did any one even check to see what units even have a melee attack?
    All these units just below I know for a fact that they have no melee attack.
    Because I just check them, and if you don't believe me, check your self.

    1) Twili Spider Swarm.
    2) Dodongos.
    3) Pincergohma.
    4) Shieldgohma.

    Other bugs.
    1) Hawkmen some how caused a CTD.
    2) Pathfinders shoot with their knives, and stab with their Crossbows.
