yes, credits go to Dutch_Balrog.
I don't even know what this talk about "daylight savings" is, so I have no idea what "bug" you mean. At least I'm pretty sure that this problem is not mod-related.
EDIT: the updated patch is re-uploaded, but is still awaiting "authorisation" from moddb...

gamefront does not work with my browser(s). Is there somewhere else it could be uploaded, without being too much a hassle?
I had this problem in the past, basically when people play custom battles or campaign battles the game crashes. Someone found out what the problem was, and it was that the mod was created before daylight savings, so when day light savings came around the windows OS automactially changed the time and for some reason it affected this mod, so the fix is to remove automactic day light savings which then fixes the bug in the mod, and results in happy people playing battles.Originally Posted by brasswire
Just tried to run a custom battle without adjusting my clock and the game crashed immediately.
So I would say that for those who were experiencing the "daylight savings time" bug, the bug is still there.

they are in these threads who all have the same problem which can be fixed by going on to their clock on the taskbar, change date and time settings, change time zone, then uncheck automacially adjust clock for day light savings.

isengard has a bug, it can build the basic mine yet already has it
To add on what Rometotalwar above me said:
It appears to be crashing some people's TATW. But oddly enough, it never crashed my game. Perhaps we should do more research about it to see if it is related to a specific OS. I personally use Windows XP.
@Nein
That's a bit too vague. I've explained it in this post: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...4#post11545494
If you start a game of TATW with Isengard. Take a look at the Orthanc settlement and it quickly becomes clear what is wrong.I can confirm this. Isengard can build 2 sets of mines.
edit:
Only the highest level of mines will actually give income.
You start with 1 level of mines (men) and 0 levels of mines (orc).
Example:
Mining (men) level 1: +350
Mining (orc) level 0: +0
Total: +350
Mining (men) level 1: +350
Mining (orc) level 1: +350
Total: +350
Mining (men) level 2: +550
Mining (orc) level 0: +0
Total: +550
Mining (men) level 2: +550
Mining (orc) level 1: +350
Total: +550
Mining (men) level 2: +550
Mining (orc) level 2: +550
Total: +550
So it's no use upgrading the Orcish mines (except for the fact that the governer gains points in Mining Knowledge (+10% mining income at level 1, +20% at level 2, +30% at level 3)).

The daylight savings time thing effected me too. I use Vista.
Thanks. Thanks for the mod, as well.
its does!, I have W7 and I had the same problem, it doesnt matter what OS you have, the only thing that proves you might have the problem is if you have the box checked for automatically change time in daylights saving,So it has nothing to do with W7.

With all due respect KK (and I do mean a ton of respect) I'm pretty sure it is mod related, just because of simple process of elimination. I never experienced this bug in TATW 2.0 or previous. Only when upgrading to 3.0 did it first strike, and only once the clock changed to daylight savings time. I only have ever played vanilla so I know it is not submod-related. This doesn't rule out all other possibilities of course, but it narrows it down to seem very likely that it is a mod issue IMHO.
It was reported some months ago in the official bug thread and there have been multiple threads about it on the bugs and technical forum. Enough threads to estimate that at least several dozen people are affected.

What about Rivendell? Is it's battle map still difficult to deploy on?
I use Win7 64bit and do not have this 'daylight savings time' error. Tens of thousands have played this mod and if 'at least several dozen people' are all that are affected, than it is not directly mod related. Most likely some system setting or unique to a particular piece of hardware or driver. I would start by starting the system in 'safe mode' and see if the error occurs.
