I had to go the the empire total war directory and manually restore all the DMUC files back to their original locations.
Yes i can. And maybe offer you some beer while playing.. or a blonde to keep you company but.. then you would stopped playing ACW and try some.. tutorials with the blonde...

It is mentioned twice in launcher's manual (Help menu and in this thread that you have to be sure that the mod you want to play is compatible with ACW). Were you sure? If not you could ask...

Also the only think you had to do was to go in nonvanilla folder mark DMUC files and move back to data. That is about 2 secs?

I have noticed when I open up "Check Files" their is nothing in their along with the user script. Now if I open the user script text file and not the button under edit in the launcher their are items their.

So, to recap what I posted in the feedback topic: I installed 3.0, and all I get is a funked up ETW. The Union States is actually Britain, and the CS is none other then the United States. The units are the same as those two nations, I have none of the CW maps from 2.6, the screen that appears before the main menu is the only thing remotely different. I installed it as the intallers said. I've twice installed it now. Anything that I might be missing?

Check Files shows files that are in data and do not belong in vanilla game and ACW. Users script holds the commands of the sveral mods you are using. If there is a command in user script and not the corresponding files in game's data folder, then you'll get a CTD. If you are not sure what it is about, better delete it and leave it blank.

ACW files are not in place or corrupted.

I have a folder called ACW in ETW, with .pack files in it. What else should I try?

Edit: I installed 3.2 in the hopes it would fix the problems. No, it didn't. I can get the launcher to work, but when I click on the CS campaigns, I get the following message: Error: bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got string)

Thank you. I installed the mod, but used for the other program, not 7zip. I have another problem: I can not run the mod .. or CS, US .. the game starts to run, but then crashed

It is not confusing, if you read the instructions here or in launcher's Help menu, which I think you haven't...

If you have not Warpath then you can play RTI 3 map (which you have seen already in campaigns selection menu!!!). Select campaign, faction and game will be launched automatically.

Sorry if my answer was aggressive but it was not addressed to an inexperienced player who "is asking you for a little bit more help" but to an experienced modder. It is not the first time that I answer a question of yours since we have talked in other sub forums sometimes. So I think you know if I am patient to answer in questions and the quality of my answers.

Thanks for a "SUPER" Mod. One suggestion - in the installation instructions you might want to specify to use "7Zip" to unzip the downloaded install files (didn't see it mentioned). A lot of folks might be assuming that they can use "FreeArc" or "WINRAR" instead since most of these are "interchangeable" and I know that "WINRAR" will give a "corrupt file" error.

    Thanks Again

You are right. It is only mentioned in the Tech Help thread 'How to install mod' to use 7z, which is linked in the install instructions, but users might oversee that (currently optional) link.
I personally use 7z for ages, so i have never any issues with extractions, as this tool can extract everything properly (it's free and in my opinion better than Winrar or any other such tools - advertisement out ).

I'm sorry, I just really do not know much English, on this I can not understand the instructions for installing mod .. I have a clean ETW 1.6, not the English version. no other mods and scripts. I installed the ACW 3.2, audio modes, but the game does not want to run any RTI 3, nor on Warpath map

    Hi
I hate to say this but I am throwing in the towel with ACW. As much as I want to play it's very frustrating trying to download, install and play. Too much crashing etc etc etc. Lousy installation. I will now wait for the Napoleon mod BLUE & GREY. Perhaps it will work. Sorry guys

Don't know, whats the Problem with you, guys^^. If you do the installation absoluteley right, as it's said in the first post, you don't have any problem. Playing in year 1862 now, having up to 3 battles per turn, no ctd's or crashes so far. Installation worked like a charm!
