    Just in case anyone is wondering, You can still use AUM-SHO for DMS even though it's not updated. I was discouraged because it would seem the download link that was provided here in the submod thread has been taken down or can't be found anywhere.
    But I did some searching and found that if you download the last version of AUM-SHO that Swiss uploaded HERE, the last DMS version is actually included in the zip file.

    The stats might be a little outdated since the DMS version listed in the zip is 2.35 and DMS is now 4.4, but I've been playing with it and everything seems pretty well balanced still. I only felt the need to change 1 unit's stats with the Pack File Manager, and that's out of the 20 some units that AUM-SHO adds.

    But the important thing here is that it works just fine with all the new patches, etc that CA has released since 2011 somehow. Just throw the .pack file in your data folder and click the checkbox when you launch like usual.

    Hopes this helps someone cuz it took me a while to figure it all out and I really wanted Swiss' units in my DMS without having to use Radious' AUM mods!

    All custom units can be played in the normal campaign and the custom battle. They are not available in the campaigns of the DLC "Rise of the Samurai" and "Fall of the Samurai".

    - AUM-SHO is fully compatible with the final patch and all DLCs
    - fixed lots of crashes which happened since the final patch/DLC
    - all db tables have been optimized according to the latest patch and DLCs
    - updated all encyclopedia HTML files to the vanilla version
    - updated the "AUM-SHO Installation and changelog.txt"
    - several balancing changes in the AUM-SHO-Vanilla version regarding the final patch/DLC
    - several balancing changes in the AUM-SHO-Darthmod version regarding the final DMS 5.0 version
    - optimized the cooldown times of the land/naval special abilities
    - raised the unit caps of several units (singleplayer/multiplayer)
    - decreased the experience which units are getting from lower buildings
    - removed the technology requirement of the "Tachi Samurai" that the recruitment is equal to the superior vanilla "Katana Samurai".
    - removed the "Sashimono" flags from all vanilla and custom units (thanks to RADIOUS who created the original Sashimono removal mod)

    - unlocked these vanilla ships for the "Ikko-Ikki"

    awww. shame you remove sashimonos :/ really wanted to try this mod. but Shogun is not Shogun without sashimonos.

    Masaky: If you want the sashimonos back you could to the following steps:


    Download the PackFileManager here:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/pack...files/Release/

    Open the menu "Game" and select STW.

    Open aum_sho_mod_dms.pack

    Go to the folder "warscape_equipment_themes_tables"

    Click on this table: (vanilla units)

    aum_van_warscape_equipment_themes

    Press "delete" to remove this table.

    Then all Sashimonos of the vanilla units are back.

    Click on this table: (AUM-SHO units)

    aum_warscape_equipment_themes

    and add this to each row in the column "banners":

    sashimono_infantry

    Then these AUM-SHO units have sashimonos too.

    I'm back after my long disappearance because of health issues. Thanks a lot for all your feedback and nice words!

    I released a pre-release version of AUM-SHO 2.6 which features balancing changes, several fixes and the optional "sashimono removal mod".

    AUM-SHO 2.6 is fully save-game compatible and you don't need to start a new campaign. You can continue your ongoing campaign.

    Changelog:
    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

    - several minor fixes
    - balancing changes in the AUM-SHO vanilla version
    - balancing changes in the AUM-SHO Darthmod version
    - updated the HTML files of the encyclopedia
    - optional sashimono removal mod "aum_sho_mod_optional_sashimono_removal.pack"

    You can use this file to remove the sashimonos from vanilla and custom AUM-SHO units.

    The file "aum_sho_mod_optional_sashimono_removal.pack" doesn't need to be activated with the Mod Manager or added to the user script. This file loads automatically.

    To activate the "sashimono removal" please copy the file into this folder:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\total war shogun 2\data

    HEY!

    I have started playing Shogun II again and i just noticed that when using these awesome units the Bow Ashigaru gets Cannon Sound Bug and im sort of wondering if anyone know how to fix it? i tried sifonia semplice but that didnt work unfortunately. Any ideas? Because so far the only way of removing the bug is to remove your mod and i dont want to do that


    EDIT:

    I Solved it, I simply place a Z in front of the mod name so instead of aum_sho_mod_dms.pack & aum_sho_mod_optional_sashimono_removal.pack they are renamed zaum_sho_mod_dms.pack & zaum_sho_mod_optional_sashimono_removal.pack. This places them at the bottom of the loadorder and their cannon but is overwritten by Darthmod corrected version.

    Thanks Fedual and it is a good point with your fix here. This vanilla cannon sound bugs are so annoying.

    I never changed military missions and please ask a modder which does campaign or gameplay mods.

    Dude I have problem that Bow Ashigaru sounds like cannon and I couldn't fixed it. I tried above post fix and Sinfonia but didn't help. I can't get rid of the this game breaker bug. Please help!

    Dude btw I found that; vanilla Oda clan has "Oda Long Yari Ashigaru" unit recruit in their home town. But when I install AUM SHO DMS, they are gone. I think you must keep that Oda Long Yari Ashigaru. They are swapped with Naginata Ashigaru. I think you must keep them both.
