Carlota, as well as the Confederados in Brazil, were both post civil war evacuation plans that were not endorsed by President Davis.

when the union's inspiration through the worker's blood shall run,
there can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun,
yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one?
but the union makes us strong.
Or if Jackson was in charge he would have killed all prisoners till his death which would have probably ended the war since CSA was winning fight after fight during Jackson's life.
Anyways...I think this game must happen. Maybe we could split up CSA and USA into mult-state factions and forget the outside influence.
That'd be neat.

If I understood IH's more, I'd help mod one, but alas.
Yeah, I like that idea. We could have an "election speech" type thing where both sides put propoganda in the state. Each speech could have small numbers of people from that state joining the army of that side, as well as that side getting more political support in the contested state.
Like, for example, say Maryland was being contested. Confederates could put propoganda in Maryland and, in return, get, say, a brigade of Maryland troops as well as a 10% chance of maryland joining them(think of the elections in the WEF and FFA IHs; people being elected, their vote percentages and whatnot)

I think Maryland should be a PC, and both the North and South will have to try their damndest to get them to choose.

And Kentucky and Missouri and Delaware, of course, should also be PC.

Meh, tbh I'm not particularly interested in another ACW IH this time, we've already had two successful ones (in the sense they were actually active and large, interesting battles were fought) in the past. (and an ahistorical ACW in WEF )
That said, I wouldn't mind playing one of the border states when it comes out, it means I'll probably get to do more RP than fighting as everyone tries to convince me to side with them
BTW, would you guys prefer a 1642 IH or the WEF 1805 'classic' IH I proposed? We had a lot of 30 YW IHs before, but they all failed to get off the ground and I'm interested in hosting either.
1805 pl0x.

To further elaborate, the 1642 IH would be a far cry from a 1618 IH (which imo would end in Bohemia/Palantinate getting curbstomped by Austria + friends in the first few turns, since the situation at that time was seriously imba in favor of the Catholics) and full of conflict:
-In England you've got the English Civil War just kicking off
-On continental Europe you have the Thirty Years' War at its peak with an increasingly exhausted (but still dangerous) Catholic alliance fighting France, Sweden and some other Protestant states plus the Eighty Years' War in modern Netherlands, and the Ottoman Empire ready to pounce on Hungary and open a third front
-In eastern Europe Poland & Russia are about to butt heads over Smolensk.
Then ofc there's always the New World, in case you want things to get even more complicated and violent
I've also been thinking of a Colonial game; a WEF-like game where people can help influence Britain's expansion into the new world starting in the year 1600.

I'm so done with speeches to garner influence and men.

So? All of them were border states, all of them allowed slavery, all would be important.
