    Way too many people are having crashes, so I am going to abort this attempt at the patch release, take a look along with the dev team, and try again once we know what the problem is.

    Just tried it out. Pergamum doesnt seem to crash with me. Also not getting the crash with the first hannibal battle.
    IS there any way of determining if the patch downloaded properly? because everybody s game seems to be having problems except mine, which makes me think something didnt work.

    I had my first crash, after battle result came, everything stopped and sounds went crazy.

    Is that new launcher necessary?

    Just like too say Ive successfully downloaded the patch and everything seems to be working fine. defeated Hannibal and now on turn 5 with no problems.
    No idea why it seems to only work on my laptop though

    Im using windows 7
    BI exe
    and im also using the original launcher from before the patch because when i click on the other one it goes mental and doesn't work. EDIT: (at least i think i am, don't take my word for it)

    used the link from filefront. was working perfectly fine for me

    If someone could give me some basic info one a few things to do with the roman campaign from before the patch such as polybian cohort cost and such i can compare the two and have a look at whats working and whats not.

    i believe the new launcher has something to do with the crashes... i think it is necessary to install it. i can't because the archive is corrupt and if i use the old launcher the music is missing the images are missing... and the launch buttons do not work... (so no entering the game)... works fine without the patch...
