Before and After, Greeks Vs Persians

This battle just got done a few minutes ago. 3,000 Greeks Vs 12,000 Persians and thier allies.


Before the battle the greeks are in a strange formation for reasons known only to the commander.

I would guess that he just put in 4 AI armies, but i could be wrong..

Easterns are able to break through a phalanx square with spartans?

there may well have been heavy cav involved *shrugs*

awesome, I like doing that but having peltasts and archers in there too, against like 4 AI armies its awesome

I had four AI armies against me, 2 parthians, 1 numidian, and 1 army of Pontus.

The Spartans held strong, but the weaker Militia and regular hoplights folded on the flanks and rear and were slaughtered, luckily i killed enough of them by then to make them rout when they tried to break that square in the center.

I had 3 units of peltasts, they threw their spears but were realy targeted by the Eastern Peltasts, lost about half of them to enemy javilins.
