-As for statues, well if Pomps wants to continue with them ok, but I can't make them, my modeling experience doesn't go that far We could take some of the vanilla game.

-Towers next to it? I don't really like that since I already made these beside the Taq-i Kisra:

On the left of the building these, large rectangular stones with long small black windows in them, sry for the description, my english fails me here
But what I'm trying to say is that towers would direct attention away from them, or even fill up their spot, and this is just such a nice thing of Sassanid Architecture.

@Ramashan, thanks for the support mate
Wundai... you have done well so far your models are fascinating, and thank you for adding the banners. about importing statues from the vanilla I don't think it would be a good idea since the vanilla sculptures are Romano-greek.
I found this pic yesterday what do you think of it

    First of all I think:
    1. where is the source
    2. what kind of building you are showing here
    3. is it a temple?

    etc.

Now I will give some facts:
(normally I don't do this to publish my internal hist. primary sources)

The only known thing from this building is
    a) the front wall and
    b) the ground plan or layout

And as you see the Taq-i Kisra was not quadrangular. It was rectangular.

And now compare that kind of source with your little painted buidling. It doesn't match. Furthermore you see that even today the real front-wall is much bigger.

I hope that helps a little bit.

In this case Wundai's building is "unintended" much more historical.

I also think you can add some trees and a nice banner. But the building looks superb

Thanks for the infomation it cleared alot of things +rep... yes Pompey as you said little is known about the sassanid imperial palace which the taq i kisra is only remaining part of it since it was demolished through ages....
it's said that 2nd Caliph Al-mansur wanted to demolish taq i kisra but his vizier convinced him not to do so..
Wundai is the man of the hour I love his works, Wundy even if the taq kisra is black I won't stop lovin' it

you are an artist Wundai. Great building(s)!!!! I know you made much more than this for the capital of the Roman Empire.
one more reason to stay with my opinion: AoD2 is the most promissing mod for next year (beside RS2)

the building was improved by Wundai some weeks ago with additional banners.
by the way - the sassanid banner was originally made by pacco exclusively for the AoD2 battles.
    enjoy! (and rep to Wundai!!)

Heh most +rep goes to Pacco my friend, I just attached the banner

Hey Aetius1, sorry for not replying thanks for the compliment

I can see why ThePianist offered textures though, up close it just doesn't look as intimidating... Maybe thats because it is twice the size, as I originally created it for
