Hi zeezrom and thanks for taking the time for your post. Before I go in detail to why some things may be as they are and to what extent I may agree with you on certain things, I need to Know if you have all the recent patches installed and to what level of difficulty are you playing the mod at when you are making your observations.

I have installed the IB2 1.0 patch and the IB2 Vandals 1.1 patch. I am playing on medium/medium.

Before you make any more sweeping statements show me your evidence for this .Try not to let your hero worshiping cloud your judgement of every one that ,was not Aetius.

Aetius was corrupted. Aetius started the civil war between him, placidia, and bonifacius because he wanted two things: power and control of africa, which he got halfway on that deal (Mauretania and Magistri Utriusque Militum) Boniface Invited the vandals to pretect himself from aetius. Bonifacius was the good guy here.

I dont believe you could give a somewhat final judgement on many of this issues - especially not on that an complicated one as the relationships of Aetius, Bonifatius and Gallia Placidia.

I am not arguing anything .I did say in my and Prof Peter Heathers opinion ! there is no evidence in contempoary records ,to sat that Boniface invited the Vandals .The whole invitation came from sixth century historian (Procopius)in his attempt to explain the power struggle .But my main point is No more statements of fact !!! from people on theses forums

Just a request: I have been trying to download this mod, but Filefront is simply a pain in the butt for me. After three hours of downloading there are still 120MB to go - and then my connection dropped!
The speed it simply appalling, please someone have mercy and provide alternative links - Mediafire or Rapidshare perhaps?

There are two small patches that are needed after the Beta install.
Let us know whatcha think..any questions just ask us gigantus

IB2 Vandals 1.0 Patch is set up to install:
C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War
IB2 1.0 Patch.exe


IB2 Vandals 1.1 Patch
IB2 Vandals 1.1 Patch.rar
Extract mods folder to your desktop -Recommend Vista users to open their MTW2 Kingdoms folder and then drop the mods folder inside, copying over all files.

"Two small patches" - agreed on 1.1, but 1.0 is nearly the same size as the basic installation. I make you a deal: upload patch 1.0 to Megaupload as well and I make you an installer for the base install and patch 1.0 together.

Numerous errors with building levels
Ancillaries, traits
Individuality of faction maps

To our knowledge with its current set up we are not experiencing those types of errors or errors effecting the game. Bugs have been alleviated with each patch.

There still are errors in the log file that we are fixing as we go but none seem to be affecting the game play, ctds, etc. We hope to solve the problems with future releases.
