I was testing the custom battles and found the mod was missing some textures and meshes. I've made a patch to fix all the problems I found and put it on the first post.

copy and paste it and I hit skip AI and it still lasts too long.I can understand about a minute in a half,but 4 minutes kills the gameplay.I play a online match of cod4 in between the end turn period.

Make sure you have nothing running in your background, at all. Such as cod4. startup inspector for windows will let you know exactly what is running and what is not, maybe gobbling up your system's memory.

So after many hours trying to get this to work correctly I finally got it to run.

I was having the problem where it returns to the menu after selecting a faction and starting.

I am running Vista-64bit.

I copied the new patched files into my total war directory, but I was still getting the same error over and over again.:hmmm:

Then I remembered how Vista would never let me edit the descr_strat for M2TW Vanilla in the past (even while ran as Administrator), so I had to move the whole directory out of program files and to the desktop and voila. Just in case anyone else out there is in the same predicament.

Hi, I have put all the files in the correct places as per your previous instructions, both years load, however when I choose a faction in the Grand Campaign it goes back to the single player menu, you can not click anything except back, I am using Windows XP, do you know how I can fix this?

I also tried what TylerCornett said, moving the directory, that also lead to the same error.

I try downloading the files from File Front and each time it say,"The server replies that you don't have permissions to download this file."
However, I was able to download Eras Total Conquest 0.1 version from Strateryinformer. Do you suggest anything else i can try.

RAM! You should at least be able to double your RAM (512 ->>> 1024 (also known as 1 gig)) if your computer isn't ancient. How old and what is the model of your video card? Probably more the ram you would need but I felt like asking anyway.
