Will you make it to be able to make a (at least flat) map from zero, please?
It's awesome as is,but if only you could and would...

Doesn't it make the game unstable to have unplayable faction win conditions ?
Geomod always write these two lines, even if there are no unlockable factions, don't it ?
You can edit the vanilla map to make it flat, and resize it manually, is it really a big problem ? It is not a priority for the moment, I have more urgent things to implement, I hope you understand.

Unfortunately not, that's how I found out.Geomod always write these two lines, even if there are no unlockable factions, don't it ?
Absolutely not, they should be able to win (apart from the slaves which I always set tot take one region less then the total regions), don't they?Doesn't it make the game unstable to have unplayable faction win conditions ?
Well i hope this has not been pointed out all ready but here goes, i added some regions to my map then added a set of units for the factions to test it everything worked fine, so then i went back to descr_strat and and added another set of units for another settlement but then when i loaded map back into GeoMod it crashed on 98%.So deleted the units and everything worked again. But when i add the units back it does the same thing.Any one else ever had this?
Is there any chance of there being a RTW version of this? Or is there already something similar for RTW?
Formerly Tyrtaeus
There was the Trivium map editor program for RTW i think it is still available for Download in the Rome Tools section. That was pretty easy and straightforward to use.
No nothing at all but i will try it again and see because you may be right.
Maybe a syntax error or something like that. Try to respect spaces and tabs. I don't think that the error comes from Geomod itself. Maybe there is something special in this mod, I don't know. I've checked that 98% correspond to the moment where Geomod try to place the characters on the map, maybe the coordinates are offmap. I must make a subroutine to check this hypothesis.

Back again yep my dumb mistake guys, coordinates were off trying to place unit in the sea.Sorry about that.
No thanks, this is usefull for me, your error showed to me that there missed a coordinate checking subroutine.
I don’t know if it is in the development plan but a "undo" button or function like Ctrl + Z would be useful. Great tool btw ,,, if only could make my mod work after using it :p
An undo button poses technical problems difficult to solve, it is not as easy as it seems to program such a feature.
hmm, whenever I make a new region,my game will start, but when I want to chose a faction to play,it goes back to the menu.help!
This may be a noob question, but how do I check my eror log?
great tool this is can you get a tool like this for RTW
