Mostly, but thery're not pure-blooded (most of them, at elast) and there are Sindar in their ranks as well.

Yes, excluding Mûmakil.

He made Elves and Dwarves stronger plus balanced some other units such as Trolls.

in a way i agree with Kretchet... but then again we have to again look at the game we're are playing; a game that uses batallions of multiple units that are copies, in skills/stats, of one another and thus do not represent the prowess of individuals

looking at it this way, one can argue Kretchets point in two directions

1. it makes sense the WoM beat the trolls; it is representative of the prowess of an implied individualism for the WoM unit. The WoM, one can assume, have undergone training as individuals eventually joining the ranks as a WoM, but the game cant represent that individualism and the power there within. so beefed up WoM works in this case.

2. it does not make sense that the WoM are stronger than trolls... i mean, trolls are TROLLS... they squish people

Throughtout tolkiens' works single elves battle with balrogs. Though those elves are comparably to characters like "achilles" but still. High Elves were like spartan warriors. Mithlond may not have been fully comprised with high elves but the race of elves are suppose to furiously passionate fighters.
