I don't think it was as good as their other CD's for the simple fact that they changed their style. Minutes to Midnight has a few good songs, my favorites being Bleed It Out, Hands Held High, and track 3 (don't know name). The other songs sound like emo crap. I want my old Linkin Park back .

I thought that this CD was a bit mellower than past CDs, but the meaning was even deeper.

Bleed It Out, Hands Held High, and track 3
I liked these exact songs too actually(track 3 is called "Leave out all the rest" I think), but Hands Held High, while good(political messages abound), sounds like a Fort Minor song or something.

When I first heard "What I've Done" though, I already had a bad feeling that this CD wouldn't be very good. It's a decent song, but Linkin Park has done much better than this quiet, pathetic crap.

I liked What I've Done, and Hands Held High was ok....but it wasn't as good as their others.

I haven't heard it, but if what I've heard about the direction they've taken with it, I think I'll probably prefer it to their old stuff (which I liked)...

Well if you like slow, sad, love songs then you will. I never thought Linkin Park was Emo untill I heard some of the lyrics to this CD, now there is no doubt in my mind that Linkin Park is emo now.

lol @ everyone's complete lack of understanding what emo is.

Anyway. I've never liked Linkin Park myself, so I was never expecting much in the first place. I suppose to their credit, they've finally learned how to write just enough to qualify as an LP. At around 30 mins, their previous albums were more like glorified EPs.

Basically. Linkin Park are as shockingly bad now as they've ever been

What? I'm flabbergasted!!! Does this mean that no one wants to listen to a group of millionaire, punk-ass-yuppie-wimp, faux-metal, sellout-******es whine about how hard they've got it, and that no-one understands them?

Yeah... makes me despair at most people's taste in music. For me, Linkin Park embody everything that is bad in music these days. That so many people like it so much just makes things worse.

Hmm...let me think about this one. Whining rich white kids squealing over garbled guitar tracks? I'd say it's **** through and through.
