BI.exe-vers work perfectly. The unit info ctd was resolved reinstalling the mod, but the custom battles ctd that occur without even an error, just as i click start it ctd, no. I'm speaking about the alex.ece version ofc, the BI.exe version work perfectly. I guess it's something related to my RTW collection version, maybe in the next versions it will disappear, for the moment reverse to the BI.exe version, i don't wanna risk ctd in the middle of a campaign. Probably it's fault of my RTW

"regina caeli, sive tu Ceres,

miti commostrato cibo nunc,

"Respice post te. Hominem te memento. Memento mori.". (look behind you, remember you're a man. Remember you must die.)
Perhaps it's an install issue. You load the alex version as a campaign install. If it is loaded correctly then the campaign.txt file when opened in the RO folder should indicate the campaign loaded and whether it is a BI or Alex.exe version. So, if you loaded an Alex.exe campaign version, then this will show in the campaign.txt file.
You also need to ensure you have the chat_filter.san file in your data folder (RO/data). If you don't, then you will need to copy and paste it from your Alexander data folder.
I'm not sure if its a bug but it feels like one. Some units i have notised have missile weapons (like bows or javalins) on their pictures. But they do not acually have any missilie weapons.
Campaign 260AD Alexander exe
When I take Palmyra there is a crash. As far as I was able to figure it out it was connected to hunting_temple great_temple_of_bel.
Also when ever I take the final settelmet of Gallic or Palmyran factions there is a crash. This bug happens to me in other campaigns also.
What faction(s) are you playing? When I took Palmyra I had no CTD so I am not sure what that is about. I'm curious as to why you think the Great Temple of Bel is involved. I am also at a loss as to why the game crashes when you take the final settlements for the Palmyrans and Gallic Empire. Do you have the gamed saved? if so, then try it without activating the script in case there is some error in the script.
I am playing Imperium Romanum (Gallienus) in 260AD campaign.
I narrowed it down to Great temple of Bel when I added the city in descr_strat to Gallienus. All is fine untill you click on the Palymra and then there is an instant crash. But when I delete the temple in descr_start everything is fine. Alternative solution for me was also to add in export_descr_buildings for Great Temple of Bel roman "great_temple_of_bel requires factions { greek, roman, } and hidden_resource palmyran and resource incense"
As for faction crash when destroyed unfortunatley I don't have a save game, I was so furious I deleted it. But if it would help I can replicate it via cheats. In every campaign I allways play Imerium Romanum proper and when I take the last settlment of either Palmyrians or Gallic usurpers I get a crash.
Thank you for a wonderfull mod, it is the only reason I registered to TWC forums in the first place. In my opinion your mods are better then Attila Total War mess.
I'm afraid I have no idea.i think gaesoriacum's map have glitch? horsemen are not able to go right side of the city.
im playing 268 ad campaign with alex.exe.
Yes, all AI armies have been scripted to provide extra armies at times. This is to overcome the AI's crap recruitment of units. It is also intended to make it harder for the player to just steamroll through their campaign.
The recruitment is for all AI factions. The script also includes reinforcements for all factions if they have less than two settlements and also if their capital is besieged. But these are based on a probability so they won't always activate. This is to introduce chance into the game, otherwise in future campaigns you would be able to anticipate AI reinforcements.
