How would history of changed if for whatever reason the Tang forces defeated the Abbasid forces?
Perhaps the Karluks do not betray the Tang forces

Nothing? They had no real interest there. It's overreach, most parts in the middle of route were not under their direct control.
One small battle could change nothing. Just a few decades later their business in the west were all finished, as they can barely keep the country intact.
Nothing at all in the world would change at all?
First, the Muslims, and thus the Europeans, would not get the recipe for paper. There goes printing presses as early as they were, and thus a lot of your fuel for the Protestant Revolution.
The loss of the Battle of Talas actually messed stuff up quite a bit for the Tang, but An Lushan would probably revolt anyway, leading to, again, the Tang turning to Central Asians for help, finally resulting in a more Chinesified Central Asia, with Genghis Khan attacking a Sinified, maybe even Buddhist or Confucian state rather than a Muslim Kwarezm.
The Ming would probably have an easier time in Central Asia, and maybe even turn there instead of building a ginormous fleet, but that’s just speculation.
