Here's hoping that you get to. And speaking of hope, this must be hopeless with so little to work on. Let's have another image. The village from the first picture can be barely seen far away where the fog starts.

Oh Morty, great job! You are so close, but it is not Suðuroy but one of the other peripheral islands of the Faroes. Go for the gold now!

Yes it is the Werner Chapel in Bacharach. Your turn.

Ach, I want to go back to Croatia... Dalmatia and Istria are just too beautiful.

I want to know the place this photo is taken from:

Noone? The blue thing in the background is relatively well known.

The resolution is really low. The only recognizable blue things in the background are the sky and a body of water.

The latter should be your starting point. Combine that with the visible Flora and Geography and you should be able to quickly narrow this down.

Is it that Thyssenkrupp elevator testing tower in Rottweil?

Edit: Nevermind, no lake near Rottweil.

And it's definitely not Edersee. But I think it must be a medium mountain range in Germany or a direct neighbour, the topography, cityscape and flora seem familiar and homely.

The resolution is too low. Sky, sea, probably the temperate zone. That's based on colours alone. Apart from the button in the foreground I can't make out any shapes whatsoever. Not of the trees, not of the coastline, not of the buildings ...

You're right. It seems I have been tricked by imgbb, which rendered a lower resolution than I uploaded. I have updated my post with a better version of the photo. Hope that's better now

No, but not far, globally speaking.
