The 2009 TWC Badge Competition V O T E!

That's right. It's time to vote for the concept of TWC's next set of badges!

For those of you new to the competition, simply vote for your favourite badge concept. The winning artist (if they haven't made them all already) will then go on to make the remaining badges, following the same style as his/her examples. So remmember, it dosen't matter what amount of badges each submission has, you simply vote for the submission which has your favourite style.

I'd also like to thank everybody who has participated in and helped run this competition so far, including all the artists, y2day, MarcelP & Lord Rahl for kindly providing public templates, and lastly Simetrical, Empress Meg & Aradan for making this possible.

1) I dislike the pictures, and I don't like the text, too bold.
2) The best pictures and the best font -- although the text should be slightly darker so it's easier to see. This one gets my vote.
3) The pictures and font aren't as good as #2.
4) Too bright, this is not the TWC way. TWC is very beige and not brilliantly saturated with colour.
5) Decent but I like the style of #2 better
6) This would get my vote if #2 wasn't there. Although citizen needs to be typical dark red, not that weird red.

I longely hesitate between 3rd 4th and 6th.
For me the 4th is too shiny.

The little thing that made me making a choice is that in the 3rd text is too small although concept is really good. Finally I voted the 6th.

I agree with Garnier's view. No. 2 would be far and away my choice, but the font is harder to read then the others. I voted for no. 4, but if no. 2 made changes to improve the font boldness and color it would be my choice.

Bah. I hate all of them. All the Tech Staff badges have bloody compasses, I like my Data just how he is, and it isn't like anyone else wears this anyways.

If I have to vote, it would be for 5, for the simple reason it seems to use a transparent background, meaning it will look good on all of our forum skins and not just a couple. But I still demand my Data on the Technical Staff.

We can always exempt the Tech staff from changes Augustus and just change the text. While I am here I may as well say that Caradog In my opinion didnt pick my best badges as show peices..

I hesitated between submissions no.2. and 3., chose no.3. in the end, as it had the better looking fonts and images in comparison. Nice work, everyone though!

PS some images of no. 6. won't load for me, maybe filefront is messing around again?

I checked in the submissions thread, and he had only one entry (artifex), when the minimum was three diffrent badges.

I pretty sure he made three badges. Maybe he didn't update the submissions thread with them. Anyway it's a shame that they were not included in the voting stage, especially considering there were custom made for this comp.
