I have installed IB 7.03 on a fresh version of RTW1.5/BI1.6


When loading, i have an error:


Error in ibfd/data/export_descr_buidings.txt, at lin 1428, colum 45...

sounds like an incorrect install. Maybe the .bat file has failed....

try this: delete all files you installed. copy the entire content of the BI folder into the ibfd folder. then install ibfd 7, followed by 7.03.

should a folder named ibfd_temp exist after the installation of 7.0, move all its content over to ibfd before installing 7.03. if 7.03 also leaves an ibfd_temp folder, move all files/folder therein to the ibfd folder.

I have a CTD when playing the campaign. Started it 5 times over and over again, reinstalled RTW and BI, patched both to 1.5 and 1.6 respectively, started playing IBFD and everytime i get CTD when playing 5 minutes on the campaign map. And something else that occurred to me was that after installing IBFD 7.0 I get a DOS setup screen loading files. Is this normal?

Yes, the installer runs a .bat file which copies everything in its proper location. Do you know whether it was executed correctly or whether there were some errors like 'file not found' and the like? If there were errors, you'll have to try it the way I described.

....although with errors, the game wouldn't start at all and instead give you an error message on start-up. Are you sure you don't have a critical system error or a virus? Oh and you need BI 1.6 for this mod. Not RTW 1.5....

Do you have CTD during the turn? And with which faction do you play?

I played with WRE, ERE and Constanine's RE (or something like that). The first time I got ctd it occurred while playing on the campaign map, the second while being on the battle map and the third after I hit the "end turn"-button. I don't get any error message, my screen simply fades and I have to reset manually. On the other hand, I have a lot of other mods in my RTW folder, which work fine and this drives me to the conclusion, that there is no virus threat in my system. I checked it 2 times already- nothing. Could you guys please help me fix the problem, because from what I've seen and heard on the forums this mod is going to be kick-ass.

Yes, a DOS box was opened...but it close after one or two minutes...

In fact, I think I don't understand that you say to me...that why the mod doesn't run.

I begin a new installation, but what is the way ?
The sound mod after IBFD 7.0 ? Or 7.03 ?

Last installation, I installed IFBD 7.0, the patch 7.03, and finnaly the soundmod...

PS: Without the soundmod, the mod run, but I want to install it.
