Again those scripts....

I'm having a problem with all scripts enabled. I started a campaign as the WRE, and after spending over an hour on the first turn (thereby reducing my deficit to around 3k ) I ended the turn, prepared to have Rome sacked by those pesky Visigoths....and what happened? They moved on Rome, FOW appeared on all of Italy (=my visible map), and next turn I suddenly saw the map of the Constantinii, but my faction symbol still displayed the WRE banner.

Suddenly I also had 20k denarii, but naturally couldn't do anything because WRE armies appeared as enemy ones .... quite logical since I had begun to besiege a city of the Constantinii just the turn before. I couldn't do anything, neither as the Constantinii nor as the WRE... what the heck?? Any hints / suggestions?

The same error again.

This time, I changed faction to the Franks, but could do everything - in fact, I seem to have switched to the Franks and so it remained....

I then loaded a similar ERE save, at the end of turn 1. Usually, the Sassanids would attack a city and my turn would come. Now, with scripts enabled, I had a CTD when I clicked 'end turn'. Maybe this has something to do w/ the Ostrogoth script....?
