SV 2.5: Non-English Version of M2TW? Check first post here!

If the Sicilian Vespers Era Menu doesn't work for you, and you are using a non-English version of M2TW, please supply the install path for M2TW in this thread.

I will make non-English versions available in the downloads thread.

Sicilian Vespers Era Selection Menu:

Non-English Sound Fix

If you have a non-English version of MIITW, and are experiencing CTD's when clicking on armies or characters. It appears that there is some incompatibility in the sound files.

The following steps will correct this problem:

1) Delete the files in SicilianVespers\data\sounds

2) Copy events.dat and events.idx from Medieval II Total War\data\sounds to SicilianVespers\data\sounds

You may be able to continue from your save, but if not start a new campaign.

I am a spanish version of MTW and i have the same problem with the launcher.

Also, when I look at the Sicilian Vespers Windows after choosing the type of campaign, it reads, in spanish:
expended_late.txt not found.
0 datas loaded.
expended_late.txt.strings.bin not found.
0 datas loaded.

And I try to aply changes in the graphical and sound options and the game dont save the changes for the next load game.

Well. I have edited the Launch_SicilianVespers.bat and the Era Menu works fine for me.
For spanish version works with this changes:

SET M2TW= "C:\Archivos de programa\Sega\Medieval II Total War\SicilianVespers\data\text"

I going to test the game.

Im playing France using the french version of M2TW with SV 2. At first I suffered some crashes only when right-clicking on irish or scot rebels. But after copying events files in data\sounds folder everything runs smoothly for 100 turns.
