Biscuit Theory
...or 'what I learned being as work shy as humanly possible this week':

4 quadrants:
1st quadrant: Both protagonists, A and B, try for dominance and the biscuit resulting in a fight and a biscuit crushed into a sad little pile of crumbs.
2nd quadrant: A is dominant, B submissive, A gets biscuit.
3rd quadrant: other way around B gets biscuit.
4th quadrant: A + B share the biscuit.


If you want the last biscuit you must start to go through 2/3 before finally offering 4 as a safe compromise.
Moral: Only by rising above your baser biscuity desires can you ever take home the biscuit.

Third in their mind: the best/right way is mutual benefit (both get the biscuit)
