The Old Testament/Torah said that children who dishonor their parents should be stoned. Moses said after he came down from Mt. Sinai this, if they disobey the 5th commandment.
Then later in the New Testament, Jesus said that the same thing. Jesus said you should stone children who dishonor their parents.
Jesus said this in Matthew I think when Jesus was talking with the Jewish Pharisees, he told them they were bad because the Pharisees did not stone children who dishonored their parents as commanded by Moses. Rather, Jesus said that the Pharisees let the children dishonor their parents without punishment if the Pharisees got some sort of personal benefit from it.
So Jesus remarked that they made the "laws of God void" or something to that manner.
What do you think about this? Many people love the Bible and Jesus, but I know of very few who choose to look into the Bible and display this about either the Jewish laws or Jesus' words upfront to people. It is as if believers choose to 'cover up' these things to me, and make Jesus out as if he was this very pacifist good kind person. Why not put it at the forefront that Jesus told parents they should bring their children to a court for disobeying them and get them stoned by the community, that is the truth of what the Bible says?
I don't know of any country today that parents can bring their child infront of a judge and tell him that their child dishonored them or cursed them, then brought outside then get stoned to death.
What does Islam say will happen to children who dishonor their parents? Does the Quran command that they should be killed as punishment?
