    Hi King Kong, it's been awhile since I last posted here... so, straight to the matter.

    I waited for official 1.2 and then played it vanilla. I must say it was wonderful. As someone said, THAT was the game they should have released back in october...

    Still there remains some minor bugs, but nothing serious and game is now perfectly balanced etc. Then I decided to try SS3.2.

    I played as the Order with 1=1, m/vh.

    - Order is damn powerful! Maybe too much... especially templar spearmen are gods in early game.
    - even with 1=1 I had majority of settlements with highest level around 1200... maxed too soon. I suggest further decrease growth.
    - with larger empire (25+ provinces) it becomes real hell with rebels. Rebels appear every turn somewhere... great frustration for me, but I know how to tweak this one myself.

    And now come the bugs. SS3.2 is still based on files from official 1.1 and thus suffer many bugs, which aren't in 1.2 anymore. For instance diplomacy (any offer after rejection is automatically rejected, not anymore in 1.2), heretics (my priests with piety 5+ became heretics regularly, never happened once in vanilla 1.2), some AI stupid behaviour (block port and then offer ceasefire, not anymore in 1.2) etc.

    I experienced problems with traits. My princeses suffered all from negative traits (except first from beginning) and had 0 charm. Some opposite traits with one character (wife lacks charm and wife is desirable). Nonsense traits (princes having tutor, faction leader having former successor). Generaly I had much more bad traits with later family members than good ones (great frustration)... with vanilla traits in 1.2 it was relatively good with very minor problems.

    Playing vanilla 1.2 is now great and do not provide you with frustration from certain bugs as before in 1.1.

    SS3.2 though still suffer from some 1.1 bugs and I felt the same frustration as with 1.1... that's real shame, as this mod si superb one!

    Overall in current state has vanilla better gameplay than SS3.2.

    I really suggest to recreate this mod using only 1.2 exctracted files. Changes in official patch seem too fundamental and deep paced to simply make some adaptation... I know it is a great deal of work, but it would be definitely worth it.

    dont now if its a bug, but when you ungarrison your troops playing
    as the british the flag that are showen on the settelment is diffrent than
    when the settelment is garrison.

    great to get another feedback from you! It was a long time since your last report..

    This is actually not true, because I replaced all diplomacy and AI files with those of the new patch...
    You're right that there remain some files from 1.1, but these are only description (provinces, units...) files, some graphical effect files and an engines file for the artillery.
    So, I wonder why you should experience another AI in SS than in vanilla...

    I agree that population growth could be little reduced, especially with 1year per turn.

    And well, I think the problems with traits are more related to the Blood, Broads and Bastards mod...
    I hope that those few weird traits will be solved with BBB 2.0..
    Otherwise I'll try to fix some of the traits, where I know that they are broken..

    That's actually not a bug, every faction has different symbols for "empty" cities...

    Hi King Kong,

    one thing i noticed playing Spain with my german game version and SS.

    I have very agressive princesses - they have command talent and are feared through the known world.

    Scherz beiseite - the Princes are titled as Princesses - but i think it is a issue with the german version i have here.

    But it falled laughing out of my chair when saw this cruel, brutal army-commanding princess - :-)

    Keep the good work up - for three weeks i am playing now this campaign - best one i played so far.
