Scriptless Chivalry - more stable?
Due to the inconvinience and a quite little impact on the gameplay, i decided to disable the show_me ai-add-money script for the next upcoming release (it will stay in the chivalry folder as optional install though).
(In Chivalry is though a background startup script active, where the player has to do nothing).
So, i ask some players to not activate the script already in the current version 0.95, in case you are starting a new campaign. ... i'm pretty curious, if the game runs better, speak, if it is more stable than with the script enabled.
Do not misunderstand this thread: Chivalry's campaign mode is a pretty stable modification without any ctd's, but as we have still a known issue regarding the settlement Gent/Flanders (the conquest can cause a ctd, look also into topic 'bugreports 0.95'), i would be interested, if the thing "script active or inactive" has an affect or not upon that.

I just made the test with HRE sieging/occupying Gent/Flanders again, script disabled. No problems found, wether auto-resolve or in the battle-mode.
I have no clue though, if this is related to the script dis- or enabled.

Will check. But I'll shoot as France- haven't played them in a while.
