Hi!
Some of you guys know my Shield mods. After finishing my "Abitur", i have mor time now to mod again. I will start with Shields for Venice, because no modder made them until yet. Here are links to the Shields that I have done already:

Knights of St. John Shields
Alternate Crusader Shields

If you have suggestions or special wishes, which symbol to put on a Shield, let me know. At first, I will have to do some research for Historical Symbols from Venice. Help and Feedback is appreciated. Greetings from Germany

very, very nice. i've made the hre, england, france, poland, spain, arabic and now i've got the italien shields. i never found something about italien shields, so i never made them.

Yes, i saw your mod...and i love it. If you want to, we can make them into one big ZIP, so all shields will be replaced by one mod

And If someone can help me, it is very hard to find Coat of Arms from Venice. The Golden Lion is all over, and at the moment i found some Coat of Arms from some Duke's of Venice. I really appreciate help! Maybe from some people who speak Italian?

One of Venice's shields looks awfully similar to one of my faction symbols for Clouds Across Europe. Am I right?

Yes you are right. I used the Symbol from Wikipedia. And it is the Symbol of Venice, so it has to look similar

@bob: Yes the Knights skins are burreks.

Lol, do you think i stole it from you? Believe me, you are not the only one who is able to Cut out a picture with Paint.net... but here you go: I was wrong, it wasnt on Wikipedia, it was on this site. There you can find a lot of Symbols. ^^

No problem. I understand your Reaction..it really looks quite the same. But i think thats good. If the mods are both installed, people will recognize Historical accuracy from both of us

Downloading Venice shields now.

And yeah, it would be great if you could do the tapered oval shields (for spear militia etc), but its up to you what to do with your time. Those shields don't need heraldry at all, just shapes of solid colour, but mostly they should be wooden I suppose.

At first: Spain, HRE and England are already done, so i will first take care of the Nations, that arent re-textured yet.

Second: Militia. I thought about that, too. Heraldry wouldnt be realistic I think, but other Shields could be possible...will do that.

Nice work, but I do believe one of the milanese shield to have an over saturated acid green, I would tone it down a bit!

You are right. Will correct that.

@all: What do you think about Militia like this? I will also update all Shields that were released before...maybe with different colors, especially for Sicily, because I dont like the "rebel" look. Sorry for bad Quality, looks better ingame. (scratches on shields and so on..) Do you think that look is good? or does it has to be more..."rotten"
