Wrong weapon type appearing in unit's hands
Hi,
I've changed some of the models and textures for a spear-armed hypaspist unit while keeping the EDU entry virtually identical (obviously I changed the 'soldier' line), yet when I attempt a battle the units in question either appear with swords in hand or completely unarmed. Anyone know why? I have used these same models/textures for other types of units (phalanxes) and the weapons appear ok.
Anyway, EDU and DMB added below, any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, well I know now that the problem is definitely something to do with the precursor (ie thrown) weapon, because if I remove this and just have a spear primary weapon with a spearman skeleton the unit looks ok. Anyone know how I can have both the thrown weapon and the correct weapon for melee?

Ok, so here is the scenario as it currently stands. I've added a spear-armed model (plus texture) from darthmod (hypaspist2) to RTR. However I wanted to have this spear-armed unit throw a javelin when entering combat, much as the existing hypaspists in RTR do. However what I currently have is the unit starting a battle with spears out and then changing to swords. Please can anyone help with this? It's dirving me nuts.

You would need to edit the model to change the look of the weapons it uses.
