Nominated Citizen - Garbarsardar

Citizens of the community and fellow CdC members, I would like to bring forward the nomination of Citizen Garbarsardar for the honorary award of Philosophers Robe. The case I bring forward is a simple one; one need only go through the posts of Garbarsardar to note the outstanding contributions he has made to the Common community throughout his time within the community.

I trust my fellow citizens will join me in supporting this proposal.

Belisarius.
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Aaand as with Sibsy, there's surely no doubt on this one, anywhere, right? For those who don't know him: Garbarsardar

i'm puzzled

the text quoted clearly indicates a Consilium de Civitate vote, but them nentions the prothalamus. One of those is obviously wrong. Either it meant a Curia vote, in the manner of Opifex, or a CdeC vote in our own chambers, akin to patrician.... but which?

Looks like a patchwork of two systems. I thought it should be a Curial vote but...

Bel, did you wrote this?

I would like to see Garb enrobed.

And I have no desire to see him disrobed.

My decision is clear and perfect.

i'd love to see garb disrobed lol

i think someone either mixed CdeC forum with prothalamus, or Curial vote with CdeC vote.

the only alternative is that the CdeC alone are supposed to debate and vote on this, but in the prothalamus, which makes limited sense...

I wrote it.

We debate it in here and instead of moving to a Curia vote it goes to the CdC.

That way we get maximum input.

Why bother? it works and is quite simple to understand. We - do - what it says.

Well, if both tBP and Garb were confused, then it's not quite as simple to understand as one would expect.

Support, for what it's worth.
