    Default Script for replacing Pre-Marian legions after Marian reforms

    Hello;
    Does anyone know how to write a script for
    replacing the Pre-Marian legions (hastati, principes, triarii)
    with Post Marian legions after the Marian reforms?

    As far as I know, there is no way of detecting how many of the pre-marian units are there in the game in a certain date in order to replace them for post-marian units so...I am afraid it is impossible. Sorry

    Correct Salvor, the RTW-engine doesn't allows this intention.

    Might be, a script could remove these pre-marian units though with the event, and just adds a certain number other units, but not possible to script a concrete (100%) unit-replacement ...

    the EDB file can determine what units will be built in the future (after reforms) - it can not upgrade existing on map units from pre-marian to post-marian types, which I think is what the first poster wanted
