the greatness of the great books is that you can find anything you look for within them-- this is why they are holy texts yes?

Religious texts are supposed to be treated merely as ... religious guidance. I did hear a lot of people trying to find scientific proofs in the Bible, the Torah, and the Quran, however I personally think they are just wasting their time.

How one can follow something that says stuff that are in contradictions with all the stuff you witness.
