Resources on Sicily

i don't know if anyone else has played Syracuse yet, but i am a bit concerned that all the resources on Sicily are centered around Syracuse. if possible, would you consider either adding more to the other provinces or spreading the current ones around?

They were put there purposely to give Syracuse an income of some kind. Otherwise, they have nothing, go broke, and die.

But it would not hurt to put some more resources a bit spread out.

You mean in Sicily? Guess it wouldn't hurt, but the idea was they kick Carthage out, and I didn't want then to have TOO much.

But won't it be interesting to have a vi for power over sicily we should give the carthaginian province some more resources.
Of course that is your call.

i was thinking more of at least having a grain resource in about half the city areas on sicily. without resources on the rest of the island, why bother to take the island at all? in my old AAR, i had to expand to crete to get any income whatsoever.

Yeah, the resources should be spread out. Sicily was a major grain producer, and it wouldn't be Syracuse alone. Most of the regions should have grain as a resource, at the very least.
