Incomplete Crusade City list?

Hello,

I've installed this wonderful mod, which, Im sorry to admit to myself, I think is more fun than LAnds to Conquer. After being a LTC fan for so long, it feels wierd to cheat on LTC with the Templars.

Anyways, I've been on the popes good side for a long time, and i got the first crusade called on Antioch, took it, all was swell.

Second time around, Im ready to call another crusade. The crusade city list is so oddly populated, I didnt think this had anything to do with vanilla, because This has never happened to me in vanilla.

There were 5 milanese cities (Excommunicated) , 2 moorish cities, And Iconium.

Those are my only crusade options, I want to send something to any egyptian city, it doesnt matter what.

I figured, hey, maybe I'll go to war with egypt, and discover the cities then I can crusade against them.

No dice, I have Egypts map info, Im at war with them, I have perfect standing with the pope, and none of egypts cities pop up as crusadeable.

Did I miss something? As im typing this I have been out of game for like 10 minutes, Is egypt not muslim anymore?

I had an issue where I couldn't crusade against Acre as the Templars. Not sure whether is this related or deliberate.

yeah the Crusade City list sometimes has some cities missing in them like the important Middle East cities but it has the really crummy northern villages like Vilnius or Riga. Maybe we can take a look at the text file that controls this...?

Thats exactly what Im getting.

It sucks, because I at least used to be able to call a crusade on Iconium, now there are absolutely no middle eastern cities. I have gotten into a full on war with both Egypt and the Turks, and Im running low on cash.

I really need some way to beat back the turks or the Egyptians and build up some money while I do it. This is difficult.

Do you happen to know which text file that is?


ETA: The only cities I get are the northern european crappy little motte & Bailey or small town ones.

First of all, thanks for the feedback!
And well, I havn't changed the targets for crusades in any way, so I'm pretty sure it is not caused by my mod...
However, is it possible that the pope is neutral or allied with the egypts?
Maybe this could be the reason that you can't crusade against them...

Yes, The odd thing here is that im working on Standard Vanilla M2TW and then with version 3.0 and then 3.2

So, ITs quite odd. I will look into the possiblity of that, but one thing I just found out in my latest game session, Rome rebelled....

I So I dont know where to find the pope anymore.

It shows the papacy as having 0 provinces, but the pope is still living somewhere.

Im confsued, is there any way to track him down?

Maybe I should give him one of my cities so i can diplomacy with him.

Havn't you installed the official 1.2 patch? This would very likely cause serious errors...
However, the pope actually does always appear somewhere else on the map when he has no more settlements. So you could just search him...

Yeah, I have been looking for him, I suppose I'll have to cheat a little and use the toggle_fow command.

Other then that, do you have any idea?
