One question: have you guys turned off unit sprites? I tested a random army of Seleucids on quick battle and I don't notice the transition between model and sprite as well as I did in the last patch.
One of two things may be a possibility: either you guys turned off unit sprites all together or made damn good unit sprites that I can't notice at all.
I only raise this concern because turning off unit sprites will drastically decrease performance for a lot of people.
I noticed two things, but I'm not sure if they are bugs or not.
1. Is there any difference in the Provincial Campaign and the Imperial Campaign, or is it supposed to be this way?
2. The population growth rates are insane! Anywhere between 5-8% in some cities.

On a positive note, I love the variety of Hoplite units you guys put in the game! It rivals the Roman legion varieties!

Yes...the Hoplites are awesome....the mod in general is awesome!
Two things that actually made me laugh...the description for Spartan Hoplites is "Beyond Elite!" and then the description for the treasury(capital) "Warning: This text should never be displayed on screen"....I sure hope that was a joke...
I suppose dvk likes to put jokes in the game. Hes a jokster. Haha. Seleucids USE CITY HOPLITES !?!?!?I am shocked....

i just gotta say this mod is awsome, i played as greekcities and im having a hard time with the many rebel armies but ill get through anyways awsome mod

You can play I turn recruitment now. There is a 1 turn recruitment .bat file which runs the mod with 1 turn recruitment enabled.
ok i found it, so all i do is run the .bat file and nothing else?

1. I love the new city lite infa for the romans!
2. love the new dipomats
3. love the map.
4. love more movement.
5. love the free peoples. ( maybe more newer units could be added in the future for the germans and freepeoples germans area ? example
1. club warrors ? maybe axe men for free peoples ? and more types of hammermen i have seen on Ebs modd.
6. Not real thrilled about haveing the same AOR for hopelites all over the greek factions locations. Seleucides, Phol. Cimm bos,
at least corth, and athans and spartas, hopelites should stay in greece.

7. I havent played egypts phol. so i dont know if you have my jewish rebles yet, but there was a rebellion 130 b.c. in judia i think.
Yet an excellant modd and very fun playing!

I dont know if you dont have the historical landmarks or new temples
for that certain faction example : jewish temple, babylon hanging guardens, ect. ( what i saw on EBs. historical sights on the battlemap.
I can see alot of work done already and its so far no problems with playing.

WOW I was waiting for this patch to come out before installing the mod and WOW... just fantastic, I've been playing vanilla RTW and I'll never be able to again... or MII for that matter...
Yes, I hate the fact RTW is out and I still have a Japanese title. Come on now admins- let's get with the program.

The AORs for the Greek Hoplites are the cities they're in - but if you as one of the Hellenic factions own that city, you'll be able to build them.
In custom battles we decided to make them all available to all Greek factions. More fun!
We're working on other factions - Hellenic and Eastern mainly at the moment. Germans will get clubs and that sort of thing but only with time - unless someone else turns up to help me out.

my first impression about the new patch... WELL DONE m8's
i like the changes on the big map (new paths, all this small settlements beside the citys everywhere.. etc.) looks fantastic! also the new units aswell as unit cards are awesome. the idea with the treasury is great! balancing seems to be very good and it is really a challenge to fight against all this rebel armys at the beginning
i only miss my roman archers *sniff*... i know you guys want this historical accurate and roman archers were not present in the past. but its rainy here in germania, it is weekend and my girlfriend is on a small trip to meet her sister... so i have enough time to wait for the marian reforms to recruit archer auxillias

The German/Celtic units are due for a major overhaul, and we probably will add axemen and possibly a hammer unit, plus some other surprises. That's one area of the map that is going to get lots of attention soon...love the free peoples. ( maybe more newer units could be added in the future for the germans and freepeoples germans area ? example
