I was wondering this for a while now. I've noticed every once in a while I see this Bird next to my Cities name. What does this mean? Some trade symbol? I dunno.. great growth? What does this bird mean to me?![]()

In many hours of M2TW I have never seen a bird. I am curious about this.
Can you post a Screenshot of it??
LOL WOW!! Ok I will when I get playing again. I'll let u know where to look. It's hard to spot, but I like playing up close for the effect you know. So, every once in a while in a particular city, next to the name of said city, on the farthest right corner of the name box is a picture of an ostrich, flamingo, something. Funny you guys never noticed.
And no I don't cheat.![]()
Maybe he's talking about the unit recruitment symbol? Or maybe the revolting peasants symbol?

Guaranteed it's the "BUILDING" symbol (looks a bit like an ostrich with its head in the ground). OP it should tell you if you hold your mouse over it...I think...
i know what you guys are talking about, I know the Building Symbol and Recruit symbol. I know what they look like, what im talking about appears above that area. It's just right of the actual Name of the city. I tried to go in my game and grab a screenshot and show you, but no cities have it. I've seen it twice in two different cities. I'll hopefully play more tonight and grab a shot. However, with the Timurids having may-day on me it might be difficult.
Do you mean the symbol for a city hosting races/games? The horse might be mistaken for an ostrich...?
I think you're talking about the plague symbol![]()

Skull sounds right. I've still not been able to spot that bird again, howver I think i'm narrowing it down. It seemed to show up at times, and in cities where my nation was prospering the most. Since I've been in decline from constant invasions I haven't seen it. Maybe when I finally beat off the Timurids i'll start seeing it again. It was located in the SAME spot that the Siege Symbol comes up in.
i think you should stop smoking that stuff ^^
meh :p missed word :O

The weed is what I need my friend, and I got a sack to enjoy this weekend!
PS. Still not seen that bird again, promise im not making this up and i'm surprized noone's seen it. Now if I knew there were "games" in MTW2 I haven't noticed them.. is it perhaps a dressed horse symbol? Only thing I could ponder being there instead of my Ostrich. Like a horse with a cloth hood on? Dunno...

CA CONSPIRACY!
They are secretly plotting to take our birds? All our birds are belong to them?!!
It all makes perfect sense now!!!
I'm pretty sure its the plague symbol, its never a skull and it only looks like a rat when its on a characters portrait...I always thought the plague symbol on the towns was an ostrich but I'm probably wrong -_-
