Surely photoshop detects the common list of system fonts, in which case simply extract your downloaded fonts to "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts" - after that they should be usable in photoshop (or anywhere else for that matter - ie word or whatever)

Yeah it uses the system fonts, although photoshop needs to be closed when you install them, otherwise it will add them the next time you start photoshop.

Photoshop has its own font folder , just follow its subdirectory paths and drop them in there that way they will show in the text dropdown menu when you boot up photoshop......also good site for fonts(mostly free and shareware fonts) is dafont.com. They also have tutorials and how too's for adding and creating fonts.

I recommend googling "comic fonts". It gets you alot of good, free, varied fonts with which to use for any application.

You download the file then unzip if you have to. Go to your hard drive->windows->fonts and just paste the fonts in they will install themselves.
    Photoshop uses your system fonts.
