    Icon1 Talent needed !

Hi all ! We are looking for a japanese translator. The job will be to translate a few small Clans genealogy trees, and to do a few short researchs about some lesser known clans. Even if you're not a fluent japanese reader, join the team ! PM me for further informations !

I think you don't have to translate names. You can put them in rômaji. Like you stated yourself in the post"Screenshots" if you translate a name this will give some really weird names. It is better to leave the name in japanese otherwise you will have 'ancestral well' for the Ii-clan, for example.

I know some kanji, but not enough to put names in rômaji, so unfortunately, i can't help.

Yeah, I tried the romaji converter... The problem is that I don't have the same results than the two translators who helped me with the Matsuda... It was like this :

松田元成 = Matsuta Moto Shige = my auto-translated version
松田元成= Matsuda Motoyasu = my two translators version

By the way, the two translators were extra-help, I can't rely too much on them... That's why I'm looking for a new one

t->d thats most likely the common get-soft type of thing. Like in... hitobito. Same Kanji 2 times (well, "hito" and "repaet Kanji"), but the second is spoken soft. auto-translaters are naturally bad at such things.

@only Seijitai: You asked if i hate Windows. I said I had to reinstall XP 2 times last week, didn't I? But its not a problem. You can have the files in .rtf , Word 6.0, Word 95, Word 97/200/XP or Word 2003 xml, if you like MS I only have to save them in the format.

The need of translations is about need of more information becouse at same cases we have exhausted all the English sources. So this is nothing extra or anything like that, but need of translations to get valuable information. For example you cant put Kanji for name files,so if anyone can help please do so.

Well, point me in the direction you want me to go, and I'll start moving. Since I'll be moving to a more remote corner of Japan in two months, I figure I can use the practice translating.

Is one of those links the original source information? Or is it from Harimaya? If you could provide the original source link, it'd make it easier--I wouldn't have to search Harimaya for it, which can take some time.

Nevermind, just read that it's a composite. Gimme a day and I'll have some edits for you.
