I'm not that much of a computer wizz but ever since we got this websense security at work I had to come up with creative ways to circumvent? websense just to keep visiting the forum. Now I use free proxy addresses I find on the web and use these in my settings for Firefox. I just have to keep finding new proxies every two days or so. Do any of you have a more permanent sollution?
I don't realy have a PC available that I can use as a server at the moment so a HTTPS-tunnel is not possible right now but I would appriciate instructions how to do this as I will have one available in the near future. Thanks

maybe this is not the answer you are searching for, but using peerguardian 2 makes me feel a bit safer.....

You could try looking up Tor, an anonymizing service. I've heard it's slow, though. Anyway, needless to say, you can get in trouble for visiting sites during work, but that's your decision, I guess.

Tor doesn't like to run overly fast to bypass a proxy.

Most proxies don't filter Secure HTTP connections, use one of them. I know a number of proxies that allow you to HTTPS:// search.

If you can't figure out the rest, you don't deserve it.
