I would prefer it to go to victoria's start date and have a converter as well... or an add on for victoria that starts at 1820 and comes with something to convert with. However everything else in this sounds awesome.

AI controlled merchants, capitol movement, historical events, omg

Looks nice, shame they don't do a whole new game focusing on napoleonic period then going for a vickyesque experience.

Their imagination is poor, obsessed with the small details. A true Dreamer, I say, creates a grand scheme and then concentrates on the details. Starting with the details is for the ants of the imagination - the small insects who aspire only to be fed.”

I want them to do a medieval prequel as well, specifically so I can do the hussite wars.

Hmmm Napoleon's Ambition was an EUII scenario. So no we have to buy an expansion to make EUIII into EUII?? lol

    Vive la France!

I'm looking foreword to this as I always wondered what the big deal around historical events being removed was. Plus I can finally change my capital!

This expansion seems abit weak. Except the longer campaign and an option to move the capital it doesn't got much I'll use. But if the release it on CD sometime in the future I will buy it, really need to improve my game-collection, otherwise I can live without, don't like to pay and download games -.-

The ability to make a capitol is very attractive to me...this implies to me you will be able to institute culture change on a province (St. Petersburg becoming russian etc etc)...i have a feeling that's why the culture change trigger you found kanaric was capitol_scope...

I like what I'm seeing from the new trade features. The ability to set CoT priorities and auto send merchants will be a blessing for me as I hate the hassle of manually sending merchants. I would actually prefer for them to completely scrap the trade system and create something better but it's much too late for that. That will be a project for EUIV! I also like the ability to create and destroy CoTs. In all my games I have yet to see London get a CoT no matter how much of the globe England/Great Britain controls.

Well, it sounds cool, but I really wish they would have extended the timeline more than 31 years; it would be very cool if they let the game go through the Industrial Revolution, at least to the late nineteenth century.

That's the timeframe of Victoria. The industrial revolution has a very different gameplay than the centuries before, I don't think it would fit in with EU3.

Right, I know. I wasn't suggesting that the game would remain the same in that period; obviously some major changes would have to take effect; perhaps even a separate campaign (but one that could continue from where one left off) would be in order.
