Serious Problem with graphic card
Hi!
I don't know what to do. I have a Radeon 9800 XT on WinXP and I updated the drivers last week, downloading and installing that latest one from the ATI page.
Now my system crashes while playing RTW:EB. I can play and all of a sudden my monitor turns of telling me it gets an invalid signal. I don't know if it happens with other games as I don't have any other game I'm playing atm.
I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the driver several times now, I also downloaded older drivers and tried but it didn't help. I ran the tests in the dxdiag as well but it all seems to be ok.
I get no error msg and I don't know what could cause the problem.
Can anyone help?
My 2nd problem is that whenever I plug in something at the back of my pc (like usb devices or speakers) the same thing happens and my card just turns off.this already happened before I updated the drivers but it never crashed during the game before.
3rd problem: my mouse. the right mousebutton always multiclicks. I cleaned my optical mouse and tried all the settings in WinXP but nothing helped.
I know, a lot of problems but maybe someone can help me.I really don't know what to do.

Re: Serious Problem with graphic card
1. Have you got driver cleaner? If not download it and use it to clean off all your video card drivers/software. Then install the newest drivers.
2.What power supply do you have?
3. Have you tried opening the mouse up and checking the mechanism (I wouldn't recommend it...but whatever....if it's not a good one have a go).
