Signature Thread

I remembred talk of new Signatures, and I thought we may as well get them ready for RS 2.0. So If we started now, we could release a full range of faction sigs.

Seing as how Rome is the best (*blows raspberry at Drtad*), I thought wel start with them, and see how we go.

Basically I need people with top computers, and good screenshot skills to start compiling possible moments to feature. I have the basic Font, I think. Each faction shall have its own unique font, as well as their faction symbol (maybe) beside them.

Good idea. Rome, Carthage and Iberia are close enough to ready with their units, we should start with those three.

So can someone take some shots of Rome first? I would, but until my new computer arrives (start of July) I cant really play at that wel a level, eg large, only units up high, and laggy with 2 full stacks.

I CAN play large, and get the quality up, but then its not the same.

Specifically for rome, maybe some Ceasarian legionaries, legionary cavalry, and maybe those auxilia archers. Il chuck em together, and see what we come up with.

Well, they are good screenshots, but more specifically, I need some that are more zoomed out, on entire units. Up close is good, but not really effective for sigs. Also maybe a lot brighter, as in environment, and take the pics during midday, in the game.

I had a quick go, but I am nowhere newar Fallen.Soldiers work on the previous ones.

Well, these new pictures have given me a good idea for the next screenshot competition.

I'll post 4 or 5 of these as mandatory ones for them to edit.

Ok, I have tried to have a go witout screenshots, and I have to say, it looks much more professional...to me anyway. Just wondering on any comments and suggestions.

I posted two because, as you can see, a small difference. I was debating on the 'shine' on the sig. Whether to cover the symbol, or not? Constructive criticism is the key here, chaps. Thanks for really helping me out on improving my GFX work

Great work! Instead of trying to get screenshots from in game, why not try something new, and find a cool historical artifact from that faction that you could use?
